Rotors are disassembled in our plant. Once, disassembled, we inspect all the shafts, poles and slugs.
In our plant, we wind bobbins with only quality magnet wire. Coils are tested to specification.
Once rotors are assembled, the slip rings are properly positioned on the shafts and checked for run out. Rotors are tested for ground fault at 1000 volts, 0 amp tolerance for leakage.
Gauss readings are taken to be sure of proper assembly and alignment. Rotors are balanced on a two plane balancer to specification.
We do offer R & R service on only "special" rotors.
